Goodbye, Tercel

We sold our Tercel on Monday. It was David's first car--we've had it since 2003, and it's been a great little vehicle for our purposes. We put a lot of miles on that thing--driving back and forth between Spokane and Portland, camping trips, David coming out to Cheney to pick me up at Eastern. God certainly blessed us with this car, and we're sad to see it go.

But we're glad to see it go, because it's a first step towards Haiti...hard to believe that God willing, we'll be packing all our stuff up before too long!

Please pray for wisdom for us in what to pack, what to store, and what to get rid of. And praise the Lord that we were able to get the Tercel a good new home.

  1. Wow, shed a tear! You forgot all those trips to and from Hillsboro. When are you planning to leave for Haiti? How's the MP stuff coming? We're praying for you!

  2. Yeah for answered prayer! I am sure that parting is bittersweet as there are many memories too. However, the move to Haiti will be here before you know it.

    Love and prayers,
    Jamie and the boys
