Pray for Christians in India

Apparently, there's been massive violence in India against Christians for about a month now. One of the Hindu leaders was killed, and people in the area blamed the Christians, even though the police blamed someone else. Christians are being shot on site in that area, and the violence is spreading to other places.

Please pray for grace and peace and protection for our brothers and sister in India. Praise God that some have had the courage to stay with the street children they serve. Pray that they would entrust themselves to him who judges rightly, without bitterness or hate--that they would find a way to love their enemies.

But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 22"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."[e] 23When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
